Car Bute
Normal membership is £60 per annum, however we also have the facility of holiday membership which allows visitors to the island, a one of usage membership of fee of £20. Members will be charged £2.95 per hour fixed rate up to 9 hours, thereafter a 24 hour rate of £35 will apply. There is also a charge of 21 pence per mile, however this may be subject to change.
Members will also be asked for a returnable deposit of £50. In the event of an accident where it is deemed Car Bute member is liable – there is insurance excess of £250.
The Car Club is a customer of Bute Bio Fuel, and we aim to use at least 50% of bio fuel as part of our Towards Zero Carbon ethos.
